Once credit approval is granted by Scientifica management, client samples may be delivered to the Scientifica laboratory address at L1, Building 53, 11 Julius Avenue, North Ryde NSW 2113. Sample delivery is via the visitor carpark or courier drop-off car-parking zone just outside the facility car-parking boom gates (see Scientifica visitor/courier signage).

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm excluding public holidays. Bottle collection and sample deliveries outside of hours may be accommodated upon application by calling (02) 8799-8000

Yes, test method specific sampling containers (water bottles and/or soil jars) are provided that may contain a preservation chemistry and colour-coded sample labels with PPE and Dangerous Goods (excepted quantities) warnings. Clients should also familiarise themselves with any MSDS information regarding preservation chemistry used. Sample container orders may be made by emailing SampleReceipt@scientifica.com.au. You may also contact us by calling (02) 8799-8000 for further information or to pre-book bottle orders and sample pickups.

Supply of sample containers and eskies shall incur a fee where the client request does not use the bottle order for submission of samples for commercial testing. Please refer to Scientifica Schedule of Services for pricing.

Yes, unless it is marked as belonging to a third-party laboratory, and in this case the esky shall be returned to the rightful owner.

Routine testing seeks to report sample results within 3-5 working days. Note that sub-contracted testing may be reported within 3-7 working days unless marked urgent. Note water sample testing offers standard TAT’s of 3-10 workings days. Faster (urgent) TAT’s may be available for a surcharge when available (with notice and confirmed in writing by laboratory Sample Receipt Notice). Surcharges for urgent TAT’s are as follows: Same day TAT incurs 100% surcharge, Next day TAT incurs 75% surcharge, 2x day TAT 50% surcharge. TAT’s due dates are calculated using day of sample receipt prior to 3pm working day as day zero and results to be reported by agreed due date approx. 6pm by email.  Optional reporting notification is available by SMS and WhatsApp upon application.

Email to the nominated recipient on the client chain-of-custody (COC) as a PDF Laboratory Report, PDF tax invoice, PDF COC, and excel spreadsheet. Clients may also receive optional .CSV formatted files (eg. ESDAT) upon application.
