NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) Accreditation against ISO-17025 (2015): test methods and laboratory procedures used to report test results and data sets are compliant with standards and regulations. Where tests methods are not performed under specific NATA accreditation (ISO-17025) protocols, Scientifica shall follow the same Quality and/or Innovation Management Systems as if NATA accreditation did apply as per the ISO-17025 (2015) protocols. All test results and methods not NATA Accredited to ISO-17025 (2015) shall be qualified with a disclaimer on applicable laboratory reports (certificate of analyses).
NATA is a member of APAC (Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation, 1st Jan 2019) recognised by IAF (International Accreditation Forum) and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) to ensure all testing laboratories holding a valid accreditation follow the same quality management system requirements for the reporting of scientifically valid test results essential for the business compliance with various regulatory obligations. NATA accreditation requires robust documentation, methodology, a formal quality management system and is auditable.
Scientifica is currently considering the benefits of obtaining certification to the new Innovation Management System ISO-56000 (2020) which is an internationally recognised ISO-Standard to guide organizations to implement, maintain and improve innovation management processes.
